During the 'Two Sessions' period of 2016, I was asked to present four opinion pieces to be aired during the Dialogue schedule. Each had to be thoroughly vetted, of course, and someone decided the segment would be called 'Voices and Votes' - which surely must have been a coincidence given that China Daily had aired their programmes three years earlier entitled 'Voice & Votes'!
